Research developing gene modifying treatment strategies to affect a broad population
New Submission Deadline is August 14th, 2023 2400 PST
- The top 2 or 3 proposals will be funded for one year
- Proposals should include a timeline of quarterly activities for the entire year with specific milestones
- Foundation advisors will work with research team to determine final activities and milestones prior to fund distribution
- Initial funding will be in the amount of $75,000 per proposal
- Funded researchers will present a virtual progress report to the advisory committee at the end of 6 months. Research showing satisfactory progress toward agreed milestones may be awarded an additional $75,000 as determined by the advisory committee
